Additional work included practice basketball court, enhanced locker rooms, premium seating and new entry concourse. 56,944 GSF of new space was added and 180,000 GSF of remodeled space, a total area of 236,944 GSF. The 175,000 GSF structure is supported by a cast-in-place concrete frame with flat-slab floor decks. This building is the new home of the Biological Sciences Department. Divisions within the department include Molecular Studies; Cell and Developmental Biology; Physiological Science; and Biology, Ecology and Evolution.
