I'm an Operating Partner at Emergence Capital, a leading venture capital firm focused on early and growth-stage enterprise cloud companies. The firm's investments include Salesforce.com, SuccessFactors (acquired by SAP), Yammer (acquired by Microsoft), Veeva Systems [VEEV], Box, and Lithium.
In my role at the firm, I am part of the investment team and I work with portfolio companies on strategy, talent/recruiting, marketing, analytics, introductions and other ways to help our companies. I work particularly closely with three portfolio companies as a board observer: Textio, Insightly, Handshake and Steelbrick.
I also manage marketing, content, and events for Emergence.
I love that my role draws from my diverse experience, from investment banking to co-founding QuickenLoans at Intuit, to being the 2nd employee at a Kleiner Perkins-backed company to writing dozens of case studies at Harvard Business School.
I'm honored that I was recently named one of the "Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business" by the San Francisco Business Times.
