Director of Consumer Marketing, UK @ Lead all consumer marketing for Google in the UK. My team tells Google's story, and the story of the web, focusing on the opportunities we can bring to people. Responsible for brand marketing and communications as well as usage metrics across Google Search, Android, Chrome, YouTube. Ownership of comms across channels - from nationwide above the line campaigns, to retail marketing, to digital and mobile media. From July 2012 to Present (3 years 4 months) London, United KingdomHead of Chrome & Chromebooks Marketing, Europe Middle East & Africa @ I led marketing for Google Chrome (including browser, web apps and Chromebooks hardware) across the EMEA region. My team drove awareness, acquisition and retention of browser users, moving Chrome from being a newly launched challenger brand to a leader in the market. With the launch of Chromebooks, we brought an all-new device to consumers in UK stores through retail marketing and partnerships. From January 2011 to July 2012 (1 year 7 months) London, United KingdomHead of B2B Customer Marketing, EMEA @ I managed marketing to Google's business customers across EMEA, primarily advertisers using the AdWords platform. Role involved onboarding, upsell and retention marketing. Included developing the right CRM systems for reaching and growing a large customer base. Team communicated value of Search and Display advertising, web analytics and website optimization. From July 2007 to December 2010 (3 years 6 months) Dublin, IrelandHead of UK Operations (India) @ Traveled to India for a six month placement to establish AdWords operations. Grew our staff on the ground from 46 to 81 talented people. Trained and mentored team and ensured successful ramp up (on schedule and exceeding goals for standard of service).
