The job required meticulous attention to detail, an ability to prioritise and competence in dealing with different levels of people from many companies and countries. From June 2005 to August 2007 (2 years 3 months) Customer Service Assistant @ Working in a very busy environment, I was responsible for customer liaison by phone, fax, email and post. I worked within the Direct Sales Department which involved handling orders from teachers and members of the public for books published by Hodder Publishers. The department was a busy one and I would often take up to 100+ phone orders and queries every day. I was also responsible for processing many credits and to maintain customer satisfaction it was essential that these were done correctly and promptly. From January 2004 to May 2005 (1 year 5 months) Administrative Assistant @ A support role to different departments. I was responsible for general administrative tasks using in-house systems and the Microsoft package.
