By keeping a robust diary system I was able to engage and introduce myself to specific decision makers internationally, I then was able to create and build relationships around Emeralds value proposition of providing the best Sales Managers, Sales Directors, VPs, Technical Sales, Systems Engineers, Post Sales, Project Managers, Channel Managers/Directors and Business Development Management into leading security vendors worldwide. The relationships where within all global territories, EMEA, APAC, LATAM and USA
During my time at Emerald I was personally responsible for achieving:
Creation of relationships with 35 new logo customers,
Achieving 125 opportunities
Introducing 5 key accounts
and total revenue £332167 within 18 months.
Vendors Technologies include – Network Security, Data Security, Cloud Security, Ddos, IAM/IDM, Anti Malware, Encryption, SIEM, IPS/IDS, VPN, NAC, and DLP Etc From September 2011 to July 2013 (1 year 11 months) SME for migration of Corporate Card Department from Southend on Sea to Birmingham @ Here I was personally responsible for the migration of all processes and roles of the Commercial Card Division. This included:
Training 23 brand new employees.
Ensuring all processes and quality checking requirements we overseen
Being creative with ways of which to train to ensure there wasn't any negative impact to customers
Maintaining relationships with Tier 1 Enterprise customers ensuring all requirements were met and they received a business as usual service
Liaising with Southend On Sea Team with weekly conference calls to manage the migration From January 2011 to July 2011 (7 months) Birmingham, United KingdomCommercial New Accounts Team Leader @ New Account Team is an back office operations processing team required to have accuracy, mindful of Tier 1 corporate customers bespoke requirements, ensuring SLAs are met and working with outsourced departments in India. I was approached to lead the underachieving team of 7 processing clerks and increase their productivity and accuracy. I achieved this and brought the team back up to business requirements. I was responsible for my teams personal development, to manage this i also held monthly one to ones, created performance improvement plans and became where necessary involved in disciplinary procedures. From August 2009 to December 2010 (1 year 5 months) Southend on Sea, United KingdomCommercial Card Client Relationship @ In this role I was an Account Co-ordinator/Account Manager for 15 blue chip customers. I was the go to person for my clients for all customer service queries, account maintenance, complaints, and suggested changes to their existing Corporate/Purchasing card programs. I worked with the Corporate Sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and addition sales opportunities where investigated. During this time I achieved employee of the month for successfully resolving high level technical complaint achieving retention of a Tier 1 customer. From September 2004 to September 2009 (5 years 1 month) Southend on Sea, United KingdomCommercial Account Support Clerk @ Responsible for Medium Size Corporate Customers new or existing Corporate/Purchasing Card programs - answering customer and branch queries, carrying out account or cardholder changes, and resolving complaints. From February 2004 to August 2004 (7 months) Southend on Sea, United KingdomCommercial Card Arrears Clerk @ In this role I was part of a team recovering late payments/debt from non paying Corporate and Business customers. This was achieved by letter, written indemnities, contact to branch and telephone call directly to the customer seeking payment.
