For the last several years, I have been a manager and technical lead for well designed, scalable solutions with web based user interfaces. From February 2014 to March 2014 (2 months) Architect / Software Engineer @ Designed and implemented several of the next generation product components. - UI portal: A flexible data oriented portal designed to interface with any web service API. - Order Flow Monitoring: Improving real-time application aware monitoring. - Network Capture Analysis: An intuitive and scalable web-based system for analyzing packet capture data. Worked remotely from Austin and interacted with NY, London, and Israel teams. Technologies: javascript, jquery, Highcharts, Datatables. Java, C++, and php for back-end. From July 2011 to February 2014 (2 years 8 months) Architect / Product Manager @ From May 2010-June 2011, I was serving as an Architect on the next generation java port of the Netflow product (ReporterAnalyzer). After CA acquired NetQoS in November 2009, I continued to oversee the application performance offering for the financial sector, Trade Monitor. It is a scalable appliance based solution that captures network traffic and analyzes application behavior and performance in real-time. I am deeply involved in customer facing demos, product evaluations, and support. Additionally, I manage the software development and product roadmap. From November 2009 to June 2011 (1 year 8 months) Architect / Manager / Software Engineer @ Provided engineering and product management for the Trade Monitor product from the Helium Systems acquisition. From December 2007 to November 2009 (2 years) Managing Director / CEO @ Founded the startup company to focus on performance monitoring and retrospective analysis for the electronic trading industry. Product is in use at a number of trading venues and hosting providers, including one of the largest commodities exchanges. Company was later acquired by NetQoS. Inherited prototype of the Passport Echo PVR code for dual-tuner Scientific Atlanta E8000, E8000HD, and E8300HD boxes, and was tasked with making them ready for production and supporting the release Very large, undocumented C++ code-base that sits on top of PowerTV APIs Wide-scale high-availability deployment to the millions of TWC customers. Represented Pioneer at an emergency meeting was called by the head of TWC to get Scientific Atlanta, TWC, Pioneer, and PowerTV together to find a quick resolution for NYC issue.
