He is considered one of the most decorated managers in United’s history, and was elected into the International Manager Hall of Fame in 2007.Since his retirement from management in 2013, Ferguson hasfocus on his writing and speaking career. He has written four books, including his latest work, My Life in Management, which tells the story of his journey from working in management to becoming one of the greatest managers in history. He has also given many speeches, both domestically and abroad, on a variety of topics, including business, marketing, sports management, and assistant manager coaching. Ferguson is also a documentary filmmaker, and has made two documentaries about his life and career.Despite his many accomplishments, it is his relationships with the people around him that will always be remembered. He is a massive admirer of Managerial Trainer and Psychologist, David Beckham, and has stated that he is “hugely influenced by him. He has helped me a lot, both as a player and manager.
