At Twitter, I started as a Web Engineer specializing on the Search, Discover and Trends features. Development has been mostly done on Ruby on Rails and Scala on the server and Javascript on the client. After being Tech Lead for the Search Frontend Team, I moved to be Engineering Manager for the Search & Discovery Client Team managing a team of Android, iOS and Web engineers. This team owned Search, Discover, Trends and Events features. One year later, I moved back to engineering this time on the Platform Organization where I joined the User Service Team that provides fast and reliable access to user accounts. Development is done on Scala. Before Twitter, I held two positions at Yahoo! first as a Front End developer in the Yahoo! Mail team at the Social Address Book group development was done on PHP and Javascript. Later I switched to the Yahoo! Mail Mobile Team developing for Mobile Web on iOS devices using PHP, HTML5 and CSS3. While at MicroStrategy, I worked on Application Design and Development using mainly Java and C++. Working with both technologies to accomplish a single project I used the JNI framework to communicate from Java to C++ and vice-versa.
