Born in the Netherlands, Albert Veen resides in London. He has a Master’s degree in computer science from the University of Nottingham in England. He has worked in the technology industry for more than 25 years, first in the banking sector and then in the personal finance and investment sectors. During his time in the banking sector, he has held a number of posts including global head IT audit at TNT from January 1998 to January 2004, as well as being a member of the Board of directors at HSBC plc from 2005 to 2010. He has also held a number of posts within the architectural profession including global head ITPMO at TNT from February 2004 to May 2006, as well as being a member of the Scientific Committee of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Albert Veen studied at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven where he graduated in 1999 with a degree in Civil Engineering. After graduating from school, he worked as a Test Engineer for many years before starting his own engineering firm in 2003.Looking to build on his accomplishment from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Albert Veen decided to study a degree in business history at the University of Dundee. Meeting excellent conditions at the university, he graduated in 2006 with a degree in business administration. After completing his degree, Albert Veen became an instant business genius and has since built his own successful engineering and business firm.

I have worked with Albert Veen for two years. During this time, we have worked on a variety of projects, from IT contracting to IT analysis and design. I have always found Albert to be very hands-on and dismissive of others who do not share his briefings or understand his work. His ability to work independently and come up with creative solutions to problems is very valuable, and I have always been a fan of his work.Overall, I would say that Albert has excellent technical and interpersonal skills. He is able to take on a variety of tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously without collapsing under their weight. He is also able to work outside of his comfort zone, which has been essential on a number of occasions.
