💼 Past Experience

I led a team of highly skilled professionals that reformed and internationalized the world’s first statutory accounting firm. We did this by creating corporate restructurings, black-box accounting systems, and developing new analytical models that transformed our clients’ business. I also helped establish Deloitte as a global leader in audit and accounting consulting. I am also a former president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in North America, where I was a keynote speaker and a recipient of the prestigious A.M. Decker Award. I am a member of the board of directors of the EY featherbedding center in Rosendale, NY.

🎓 Education

Albert Liguori is a lawyer and business administrator who attained Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont in 1987 and Attorney of the Law from Brooklyn Law School in 1994. He then moved on to obtain Juris Doctor degree from the law school of the University of New York, Department of Law in 1999.Since his inauguration as Commissioner of the New York State Police in 2001, he has routinely visit schools and colleges in the State to counsel on various law enforcement issues. In this voluntary role, he has met and impressed many law enforcement officers and educators with hisinformed, articulate and engaging lecture style. As a result, he has also won broad admiration as an articulate and impassioned advocate for law and order in New York.In his capacity as a public representative, he has also engaged in public service work. He started a non-profit organization in 2001 which provides education, job training and financial assistance to low-income students in his borough of Brooklyn. The organization isocated at a public high school and continues to provide services to the community despite budget cuts by Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams.In his free time, Mr. Ligguori enjoys traveling, playing the piano and spending time with his wife and two young kids.

I am also able to motivate and inspire team members. I have a deep understanding of the tax process and am able to provide specific and detailed advice to my clients. I am also highly communicative and are great at staying in close communication with co-workers. I excel in problem-solving and have a high degree of problem-sensitivity.
