I spent my early professional career developing complex business software for a range of financial services, retail and manufacturing clients across Asia, Europe and North America. Not content with just relentless focus on technology and problem solving, I enrolled in the MBA program at MIT Sloan to gain an understanding of the broad science/art of management. After MIT I joined Amazon.com and over the last 10+ years have progressed from managing process improvement projects to running the highest volume Fulfillment Center in Amazon's global network to leading nearly a third of Amazon's North American Fulfillment network and leading a number of corporate operations functions like Engineering, Lean/Six Sigma, Security, etc.
I am now focused on a number of strategic new initiatives for Amazon's consumer business that will power Amazon's growth for many years to come.
My experience in both technology and operations has made me a significant contributor to many initiatives at Amazon.com but I take particular pride in my ability to lead and develop others.
