💼 Past Experience

Ajay Sharma was born in Muradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India in 1973. He is a son of a school- teacher and a housewife. He completed his Class XII from Shamari high school and later started studying engineering at Allahabad University. After getting his engineering degree, he started his career in 1981 as an apprentice in a small but successful company. In 1984, he joinedokia India and worked in the India head office and in the Research and Development department. After a few years, he moved to the Japan head office and started working on theizu digital voice project. In 1990, he moved to the U.S. head office and worked on the Apple acquisition project. In 1995, he rejoined Nokia India and worked on the sales and product management for the mobile phone market in India. He was then transferred to the U.S. head office and, in 1999, became the head of Nokia Americas. From 2001 to 2003, he was the Regional Vice President - North America for Nokia. He then left Nokia to join Alcatel-Lucent as the Vice President - Supply Chain Management. He left Alcatel-Lucent in 2006 to become the President - Supply Chain Management at Usha International Ltd. He is currently the President - Supply Chain Management at Usha International Ltd.
