Smart, business savvy executive assistant turned project coordinator with five years experience supporting a C-level executive through the high growth phase of an industry leading financial services firm. Extensive experience with all aspects of supporting high net worth, in demand individuals who hold high expectations for the professionalism, integrity and initiative of their staff. Strong understanding that being an exceptional member of an executive's core staff isn’t about mechanics but is about communication and partnership. Over the course of my career I've taught kids how to read, sold advertising in a culture magazine, have worked in finance and helped to start and run a theater company in Chicago. While it seems a wide ranging set of experiences, the truth is they all rely on the same passion: getting to know people and connecting with them. Community building has been at the core of all my work, no matter what the day-to-day tasks involved. I have been interested in how technology brings people together since working at a tech focused firm where I learned from the engineers that technology isn't about hardware or software but is a way of thinking. To apply technology means to look at the solution to a problem in a way that is logical, efficient and able to be repeated with consistent results. My strength is in my ability to think strategically about any problem and apply my operational experience to get things done. In my free time I am writing a novel set during the financial crisis in 2008 and am active in the live lit performance community in Chicago.COO @ From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Operations Administrator @ From October 2014 to Present (1 year 3 months) Student MA Creative Writing @ From August 2013 to September 2014 (1 year 2 months) Bath, United KingdomProject Coordinator @ From October 2011 to August 2013 (1 year 11 months) Board President @ Presided over non profit board of storytelling organization in Chicago.
