Ahmed Marcouch hails from the city of Amsterdam. He began his education at the local Hogeschool, which he finished in 1995. There, he received his Baccalaureus (bc. or bac) in Lingüistics from the study program at the Interuniversitair Centrum voor organisatie- en veranderkunde (ICO).Since then, Ahmed Marcouch has been working as an agent for the Dutch National Police. He started his career at the Dutch police academy, De politieschool, in 1993. Ahmed Marcouch has worked within the Dutch National Police ever since, and currently works as an agent for the Amsterdam-based unit, Unit 8.Ahmed Marcouch has also conducted his own studies, Fangzhou Vocational Fine Management program from the Fudan University in Shanghai in 2008. The program aimed to teach people in various job entries and career paths, regarding various methods to optimize their career development.In addition to his education and work experience, Ahmed Marcouch has also written a book on change management, released in 2009 by Cambridge University Press. Ahmed Marcouch is thus well-prepared for his future career goals.

Ahmed Marcouch holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam, and a diploma in Administration from the Dutch National Academy for Administration, which he completed in 2006. from January 2003 to January 2006.
