Adrienne Gaskell’s jewelry designs explore the ancient Japanese art form of kumihimo braiding which she has expanded upon to incorporate gemstones, pearls and beads. With Makiko Tada, she has helped popularize this ancient process and bring it into the realm of modern jewelry design. Students have enjoyed her classes throughout the United States and at the Bead & Button Show since 2007. Adrienne is honored to teach ongoing workshops in Japan for the Toho Bead Company and the Japanese Kumihimo Society, and to have her work exhibited at the Toho Bead Museums.
Students can join me on the Japan Adventure Tour in October 2015. More information on my website www.AdrienneGaskell.com.
