From February 2011 to April 2011 (3 months) Research Student @ Nanyang Technological University Designed and implemented an adaptive image restoration scheme by posing the corresponding regression problem using Smoothly Clipped Absolute Deviation penalty function and using Local Linear Approximation to solve the formulated unconstrained optimization problem. A comparative analysis with the existing image restoration schemes such as Total Variation, Adaptive Total Variation etc, was also conducted, proving it to be more effective and efficient. The paper on the same was published in the Journal “Pattern Recognition”. From December 2008 to June 2009 (7 months) Research Assistant @ IIIT Hyderabad Implemented incremental cryptography using Elliptic Curve Cryptography and also did the complexity analysis to show that the algorithm becomes much faster and more secure on doing so. I studied elliptic curve cryptography and proposed a way to further increase the complexity of the encryption scheme. I presented the results of my research in the form of a seminar.
