The DrupalACT team are responsible for the creation and running of DrupalGov Canberra, the only Drupal in Government event in Asia Pacific. From 2012 to Present (3 years) Contributor @ From 2011 to Present (4 years) Technical Consultant @ As the Asia Pacific technical consultant for Acquia, I worked with clients across Australia, Asia, Latin America and the US to ensure the success of their Drupal projects. Predominantly acting prior to larger platform builds to discover requirements, architect site builds or increase the internal skill level of development teams I was continuously exposed to the many different functions performed by major enterprises. From May 2014 to July 2015 (1 year 3 months) Senior Support Engineer @ I supported some of the biggest Drupal sites in the world. Ranging through news, entertainment, higher education and financial, my role as a support engineer placed me squarely at the forefront of Acquia's operations to keep the highest trafficked Drupal sites on the internet online. From May 2013 to May 2014 (1 year 1 month) Drupal Consultant @ As part of the launch of the new givingwhatwecan.org website, I advised and implemented performance tunings for the site and infrastructure on a voluntary basis. In addition to this, data migration from an existing Drupal site to the new site was undertaken to maintain consistency post-launch.
Working closely with the Giving what we can team, I provided a best practices approach to both a site launch and general hosting/operating of Drupal in the clouds From January 2014 to April 2014 (4 months) Drupal Developer @ I assisted in the Drupal 5 to 7 migration of the main AMA site as well as integration of subsites into the AMA suite of sites.
I developed custom modules and extended contrib in order to provide an improved experience for our users. From March 2012 to May 2013 (1 year 3 months) Drupal Consultant @ I provided node.js and site tuning assistance as well as general consultation on Drupal best practices to the Turkish language Commerce/Social site urban5.com From August 2012 to February 2013 (7 months) Web Developer @ I provided assistance and developed Drupal 6 and 7 sites for a large swathe of companies in Canberra. From 2011 to 2012 (1 year) Developer @ Created and consulted Drupal sites with the purpose of entering into the daily deals market. From 2011 to 2011 (less than a year)
