📖 Summary
In April 2015 I started a new challenge as a Project Administrator with E.ON Wind, assisting in the development of Offshore Wind Parks. June 2013 to February 2015 as a Project Administrator and then Global Rollout Coordinator with IKEA IT working on the ICC4 Server Rollout Project. Key activities: Project Planning and administration, Global liaison and coordination of IKEA entities. TCV 12.76 MEUR. Four years as a Senior Project Officer with the Department of Infrastructure and Planning working as part of the Community Futures Task Force on the Traveston Crossing and Wyaralong Dam projects. The Task Force role involved project coordination, community consultation as well as the administration of a grant funding scheme. Three years as a Strategic Business Consultant with Richard Joel & Associates. Richard Joel & Associates was a strategic consultancy working closely with clients at a senior level on government and economic relationships. Its primary role was assisting clients on new projects and opportunities as well as working to secure their successful outcome. As a Global Rollout Coordinator for the ICC4 Server Rollout Project I had a range of responsibilities encompassing the rollout of new servers for the entire IKEA Retail sector. Project value 12.76 MEUR. Global Rollout Coordinator • Verify site hardware and new site hardware requirements with country and local IT. • Liaise between the windows engineers of Central IT and Country IT to ensure that the correct hardware was ordered. • Assist the Project Manager with all facets of project planning. • Plan and coordinate server migrations on an international level. • Author the migration handbook, project workflow descriptions and user documents for Project Place for the Rollout Coordinators. • Chair weekly inter-project meetings, in the absence of the Project Manager, to coordinate the present and upcoming workflow on internal resources. • Assist the Project Manager in the project’s financial reporting. • Administration of the project’s internal website. • Spearhead the development of an internal database to track individual site migrations. • Secretariat duties for Project Steering Committee meetings. • Hold initial and subsequent meetings about the project with Country IT managers. Kandanga Cemetery Project - addressed community concerns regarding the affects of the dam on an active cemetery. Administration of the Community Futures Fund, a community grant funding scheme which provided AU$700,000 to the local community through 182 grant applications. Assisted in leading and co-ordinating a whole-of-Government approach to social/economic development and facilitating stakeholder participation in these initiatives. 2nd author for a community consultation policy for the Department of Infrastructure and Planning. Provided strategic advice to other government agencies on community consultation for significant projects. Organisation and representation of the CFTF at inter agency meetings. Direct liaison with community members in providing resolutions to queries. Represented the CFTF at regional inter agency and public meetings. Co-ordinating and writing formal responses to inquires. Secretariat role to CFTF board meetings. Undertook high level research. Liaised, organised and attended site visits for Major General Arnison (CFTF Chair). Wrote decision briefs and information briefs for Director General level. Assisted with Cabinet submissions and Ministerial Briefings. Followed terms of reference and strategic plans. Responsibility for updating (and eventual dismantling) of the CFTF website . Developed and maintained close working relationship with regional councils and private sector entities. Training and orientation for new team members. Chaired selection panel for recruitment. Deputy Floor Fire Warden. From July 2006 to December 2010 (4 years 6 months) Queensland Area, AustraliaStrategic Consultant @ Responsible for fast-tracking and close-contact monitoring of submissions to Government for approvals and assistance. Strategic advice for consolidation or expansion of facilities, new projects and business opportunities. Arranged and provided corporate and industrial liaison in developing new business. Provided advice, guidance, direction and contact when approaching key levels of government. Provided updates on government initiatives and policy interpretation. Knowledge of public/private partnerships and assistance with their implementation for clients. Research and analysis of businesses and applicable grant applications to Government. Competitive analysis and update on new business and government initiatives. Mediation between private and public sector entities. From July 2003 to June 2006 (3 years) Corporate Supervisor @ In charge of 9-40 staff co-ordinating corporate meals and beverages for up to 230 patrons. Responsible for both front and back of house staff, cash registers and billing of corporate patrons. The position involved a high degree of people, human resource and time management skills.
