From July 2012 to Present (3 years 6 months) Recruiter, U.S. Sales, Spinal Fixation (Marketing), Accounting & Finance @ - Review potential applicants with Hiring . - Maintain & Create monthly reporting tools to assist in recruitment & retention. - Responsible for creating and maintaining job descriptions for all positions. - Build relationships with internal customers/ employees in an effort to increase Human Relations (retention efforts) - Conduct initial phone interviews with prospective employees. Makes recommendations to supervisors concerning applicants. - Prepare and distribute all new hire requisitions for open positions. - Schedules interviews between prospective employees and NuVasive managers in the process of filling vacancies. - Maintain Resume database - Generate employment offers with Manager, Global Recruitment - Assists Manager, Global Recruitment with various projects - Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485. From November 2009 to July 2012 (2 years 9 months) Sr. Recruiter, AZ @ - Source and recruit 15 or more talented candidates per month while creating a fantastic candidate experience - Interact with Site Vice President, Regional Vice President’s, and Director’s of Mortgage Banking to assess their needs - Seek out passive candidates by cold calling, networking, and sourcing candidates via internet - Recruited from local universities as well as local career fairs - Maintain metrics data on weekly interview-to-hire ratios - Maintain accurate filing systems to track candidate’s retention and success rate - Partner with internal marketing team to develop campaign’s to increase company branding - Train new recruiters on behavioral based interview techniques - Showcase strong relationship, proven verbal and written communication skills - Manage and teach fellow recruiters best practices From June 2007 to November 2009 (2 years 6 months) Recruiter @ - Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates - Evaluate candidates' strengths compared with clients' requirements - Identify, select and recommend the best candidate for the client requirement - Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements. - Oversee completion of necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and background/drug tests. - Manage contract employees while on assignment. - Assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary. - Work with Account Managers to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, and to assess clients' staffing requirements. - Communicate effectively with others in order to create a productive environment. - Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting 'best practices' and providing accurate, thorough documentation on contract employees in applicant tracking systems or other documentation tools. - Maintain relationships with existing and potential client contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.
