💼 Past Experience

I started off my career in Information Technology and Services. After 10 years of this type of work, I feel extremely well-versed in web development and the art of user experience. I’ve worked on a wide variety of projects, from tiny web apps to the biggest and most complex financial systems in the world. I’ve learned a lot about how to design beautiful and intuitive interfaces, how to work with various front-end frameworks and how to optimize user experience.What have I learned that I use day-to-day at Facebook?One of the most common tasks I engage in as a Front End Engineer at Facebook is creating efficient and user-friendly interfaces. I always try to design for Keyboard, Mouse and touch devices, so that users can operate their browsers the way they want. I also keep an eye on trends and try to incorporate advances in technology into our designs. For example, we’re using Gear VR for our first viewer, and I’ve worked on making sure that the interface is as intuitive as possible.I also like to build widgets. They can be anything from simple pieces of data to web-based features that let users interact with our algorithms and the mainFacebook application. And, of course, I always try to push the envelope to see what can be done with JavaScript.What have I learned that I use day-to-day at Coinbase?In my role at Coinbase, I work on developing web applications that help users buy and sell cryptocurrencies. 🎓 Education

Aaron Cordova's education has spanned across a wide range, with him studying at a number of different institutions. After studying at The General Assembly, he moved on to study at the Institute of Audio Research. This past year, he completed his work readiness course at the University of Wales in Cardiff. Overall, this has taught him about the different stages of work readiness and how to take the necessary steps to ensure he is on track to achieve his goals.

Aaron Cordova has over 10 years of experience in the field of information technology and services, most notably as a Senior Front End Engineer at Coinbase. Previously, Aaron was a stint as a junior engineer at information technology company IOT Solutions. While at IOT Solutions, Aaron worked on a number of front-end projects for a number of major technology companies, including Facebook, Yelp, and Twitter.One of Aaron’s proudest achievements at IOT Solutions was developing the HTML5 animation library for the company’s website. This library allowed IOT Solutions customers to easily create dynamic, 2D and 3D animations for their websites. Additionally, Aaron helped to develop the company’s social mediauty, which allowed IOT Solutions customers to share dynamic, animated GIFs of their website content with their friends and family.In recognition of his work at IOT Solutions, Aaron was given the prestigious ASME J.V. “A” stamp of excellence.
