I am fun loving, seeking opportunities and fresh ideas in even the most obscure projects. In addition I have the drive and determination to create and complete the projects I see. I am sociable and work well as part of a team I get excited at the prospect of bouncing ideas around with friends and colleges. My main focus is performance; I will often run different snippets of code with a benchmarking tool in order to find the optimal approach. Working on the development of the analytics tool “engage” I learnt the value of performance optimizations when working with large volumes of data. Regular reads of mine are hacker news and r/programming sub-reddit, they help me keep up to date with the latest trends and ideas, often participating in debates on the latter.
