Acquired by beIN Media Group (beinmediagroup.com) in March 2016 and headquartered in Los Angeles, MIRAMAX is a global film and television studio best known for its award-winning and original content. Nasser Al-Khelaifi serves as Chairman of MIRAMAX and beIN Media Group. Current projects include: Whitney, the documentary feature from Oscar®-winning director Kevin Macdonald on pop icon Whitney Houston, released together with Roadside Attractions in the U.S. on July 6; Halloween, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, which MIRAMAX produced with Trancas International Films and Blumhouse Productions and co-financed with Blumhouse Productions, and which will be released by Universal on October 19th; Richard Sherman's The Perfection, starring Allison Williams (Girls, Get Out); and Guy Ritchie’s next film, expected to start production in October 2018.
