We began by building facilities to import and receive LNG from other countries. But when technological advances unlocked new natural gas resources in the United States, we were nimble and pivoted our focus to LNG exports. This pioneering spirit has made us a leader in a global energy system that has shifted over the last decade towards lower-polluting fuels that are affordable and reliable. Today, we are a unique and growing company – the first publicly traded and operating U.S. LNG company. We own and operate the Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal and we’re developing and constructing additional liquefaction facilities near Corpus Christi, Texas. We also operate and own two pipelines that supply our facilities, and we’re constructing a third in Oklahoma. We purchase natural gas from the efficient North American market, process and liquefy the gas into LNG, and offer our customers the option to load the LNG onto their vessels at our terminals or have us deliver it to regasification facilities around the world. Since startup, over 1,000 cumulative cargoes of LNG originating from Cheniere have been delivered to 35 markets worldwide. In support of that global reach, we have additional offices in London, Singapore, Washington D.C., Beijing and Tokyo, and we employ more than 1500 people worldwide.
