Washington English Center

Washington English Center (WEC) provides affordable English-language instruction and workforce development programs to adult immigrants using volunteers. We have worked with thousands of students from more than 100 countries. With a small staff of just nine, WEC is able to fulfill its mission through the commitment of an army of trained volunteer teachers, tutors, and job coaches. For 28 years, WEC has continued to thrive in this community thanks to the generous support of individual donors, corporate sponsors, and other local funders.
