MHN was founded in 2009 by the Comer Family Foundation to unite multiple health systems and providers in Chicago around a vision to reduce systemic gaps in care and social determinants that impact the health of under-resourced communities. While remaining committed to Chicago, MHN is expanding its work into new markets with the goal of making a national impact on community health. MHN was selected as one of the 2021 Best Places to Work in Healthcare.
